Community Coordinator

We have received funding from the Community Renewal Fund to establish Cowork Local: Denbighshire. The aim of this project is to unlock the potential of some incredible spaces across the county of Denbighshire and to open their doors to coworkers - enabling local community venues, such as libraries, sports clubs, or even stately homes, to provide a working environment which is accessible, welcoming, and productive; and empowering workers, business owners, and freelancers, to work closer to home within their local communities.

Your role will be to support the Community Manager and wider team with the day-to- day operation of the project, including: assisting users with the booking system; ensuring resources are distributed around venues; supporting with content development for marketing and social media; and promoting and running business support programmes and events.

You will have stacks of initiative, be able to prioritise the most important tasks, and manage your time effectively. You will have excellent communication skills, outstanding customer relation skills, and a positive, upbeat attitude.

You will be passionate about Denbighshire, and the towns and communities within, and will be driven to use Cowork Local as an opportunity for growth and regeneration, using your role to help create social, economic and environmental value for the local area.

This is a temporary role, funded until the end of June 2022. Dependent on the success of the project, there is the possibility of extending the term of this post. The salary will be between £20,000 – £24,000. The job will require you to travel to multiple locations around the locale, and therefore, a full UK driving licence will be essential. Mileage allowance will be given in addition to the agreed salary.
