Cwrt Cowork, Cardiff awards its first Square One bursary

As part of our commitment to support people who face barriers to accessing our spaces, we’re pleased to announce the award of another Square One bursary to Alex Bull through Cwrt, our coworking space in Llanishen, Cardiff.

With years of experience as a fully qualified personal trainer, Alex is working on an incredible business idea, taking her skills to create an amazing fitness studio, and we’re super excited to offer her our Square One Bursary to help her along her journey.

The support package contains everything an individual needs to start and grow a business, including full-time desk space with high-speed internet access for three months, one-to-one business support, bi-weekly check-in and goal setting sessions, enrollment into the expert-led Startup Club programme and access to networking and special events.

Adam Sparkes, Community Manager at Cwrt commented “It’s great to see more and more people coming forward to take advantage of our Square One bursary. As a company committed to doing business for good, we’re pleased to be able to offer Alex a place as part of our delivery of £35,000 of support.”

To be eligible, individuals need to be either pre-start or within their first two years of trading, be within a short commute of Cwrt Cowork at Llanishen and they must feel they face a barrier to starting their business.

If you think you’ve got a great business idea, and would love to be involved in our bursary scheme, speak to your local TownSq space or visit townsq.co.uk/squareone to find out if you qualify and how to get started.
