Join our team in Bognor Regis

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Town Square Spaces team for a Community Assistant at our exciting new Bognor Regis Creative Digital Hub – The Track.

Based within the Grade II listed Bognor Regis railway station, The Track has been designed by internationally renowned designer Wayne Hemingway and his team, and while retaining its character and historical features, has been transformed into an ultra-modern coworking, meeting and event space.

We are looking for someone to join our team who can support us to build a cohesive community of freelancers and startup businesses in the digital, tech, and creative sectors.

The responsibilities for the new job role are based on three key areas of focus:

You will be passionate about helping people to overcome all barriers on their way to success with their enterprise, idea, or vocation. You will be the kind of person who believes 100% in the vision and dedication of the person who is opening their heart and sharing their idea with you.

You will work alongside our Community Manager at The Track, continuously expanding and improving what we offer for our members. You will have a flair and passion for events, marketing and making fun stuff happen. You will be a great listener, a fantastic communicator and get a kick out of making the space work best for our community.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge/experience of social media platforms
  • Quick learning
  • Confident communicating with people from all backgrounds

No extensive experience is needed in these areas as you will receive full training and support for the role. All we ask is that you have a passion to learn!

TownSq is committed to inclusive recruitment: we welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and with all kinds of life experiences.

We are a certified Living Wage employer. Salary will be agreed with the successful candidate, dependant on experience.

The role is currently 3 days per week, with potential to increase to full-time as our membership base grows. The typical working hours are between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, but as we deliver additional support programmes and events, sometimes you will be required to work an evening (until 8pm) and the occasional Saturday (9am-12pm).

If you would like more information, or a formal job description, please contact us on 01243 943243, or send your CV and Cover Letter to recruitment@townsq.co.uk by 5pm on Monday 17th May.
