Toddle Are Moving to a New Business Premise

It’s always a mix of emotions when a business outgrows one of our spaces. We are of course incredibly sad to say goodbye but it’s also amazing to see how far the business has come since we met them!

When we first met Hannah Saunders the founder of Toddle her story was one which instantly inspired us. A former Armed Forces Officer she had always enjoyed living an adventurous lifestyle and didn’t want having children to change that. However taking her two young sons on her adventures proved difficult as Hannah soon found out that no products available in the marketplace actually protected her sons sensitive skin….so she made her own!

Hannah worked alongside the development teams at Glyndwr University to create & test a range of skincare products ensuring they were the very best quality, using sustainable, natural and Vegan ingredients. All PETA approved!

When she started at the hub the products didn’t exist yet & Hannah was a one woman team who instantly got involved in the culture of Town Square Spaces & The Wrexham Enterprise Hub enrolling on our Accelerator programme, seeking support from Business Wales, Development Bank of Wales & many more.

We soon saw Toddle grow to a larger team including full time staff & hands on roles for University interns. Not only were personal achievements beginning to accumulate but Hannah & the rest of the team soon found themselves the winners of several awards and competitions including PitchIt, Womenspire, Heropreneurs and the list goes on.

Then of course Toddle actually launched! The Wrexham Enterprise Hub soon began looking like a production line as boxes of lip balms, suncream and more started arriving and the team at Toddle got a head start on practicing their Christmas wrapping putting together their beautiful Toddle gift boxes. As predicted the products were in high demand and the team recently celebrated their first ever SOLD OUT moment on Amazon.

Alongside all of this Hannah was still always on hand to help fellow hub members and even delivered several workshop sessions for visiting students telling the story of how her company came to be. Not to mention being a wife and mum to 2 children alongside all of this while still finding time to give back to the community and have glimpses of a social life! (we think the work Christmas party counts).

we’ve given Hannah plenty of grief about the amount of products she’s had taking up our space and she has given it right back whenever we run out of milk or coffee , but we are going to definitely miss having her and Toddles amazing team spirit around the building!

We wish them all the very best of luck in the next stage of their adventures and of course we’ll continue to support them in any way we can, even if our building isn’t physically big enough to store their boxes!
