Wrexham Enterprise Hub is open to locals struggling to work from home during broadband outage

Our Wrexham Enterprise Hub is opening its doors to any local workers who are being affected by broadband connection issues.

Wrexham Enterprise Hub on Rhosddu Road has not been affected by the internet outages that have been widely reported in areas across Wrexham since yesterday, and is offering a seat in the space to whoever needs it.

There have also been problems with 4G and 5G connectivity in Wrexham, and it’s suggested that connectivity might not be restored until Tuesday.

Anyone who comes into the space will be able to access charging points, tea and coffee facilities, private space for in-person or Zoom meetings, and free internet access.

Our Community Manager Pete Rogers said that anyone struggling to get work done at home is welcome at the hub: “We all rely on a good internet connection, especially when working remotely, so it’s no surprise that this rare outage has caused some disruption for people in Wrexham.

“Wrexham Enterprise Hub has not been affected by the issues and our doors are open to anyone in the area who needs internet access today – just pop down to the space on Rhosddu Road and stay for as long as you need to get some work done.”

Wrexham Enterprise Hub is located at 11-13 Rhosddu Rd, Wrexham, LL11 1AT and is open between 8:30am and 6pm today.
