A new series of business support & networking events for the creative industry in Caerphilly has been a roaring success.

Creative Collective’s roadshow events, which gave businesses and entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive free business support sessions in their area, have been a hit in recent months.

Off the back of the popular events, business support specialist Town Square Spaces (TownSq) has teamed up with the Creative Collective community to offer a number of creative roadshow events across Caerphilly County Borough, bringing industry experts in essential business topics like marketing, HR, IPO and admin to local professionals.

The series launched in March with its first event at Shappelles in Ystrad Mynach, where exhibitors including Development Bank, Fig Tree HR, Centre of Excellence in Mobile and Emerging Technologies, and TownSq Admin were in attendance to offer insights, guidance and support to attendees.

The Caerphilly Creative Roadshow series comes as part of a new project running across the county, funded by the UK Government Levelling Up Project through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

The aim of the initiative is to champion entrepreneurship in the area by giving businesses support and resources that can help them thrive, whilst also offering a boost to the local economy.

The first event in Ystrad Mynach was received very positively, and it was fantastic to see so many entrepreneurs connecting and gaining the advice they need to keep developing.

The roadshow will also be stopping at Risca on Wednesday 12 June and Blackwood on Tuesday 17 September. The event is drop-in style and runs 11am-2pm.
