10th May is the first-ever European Coworking Day. It’s a day to celebrate the coworking community and all the good things that come from working together.

At TownSq, we’ve over a decade of experience in running coworking spaces and supporting small businesses, and we now have eight locations across the UK. We know that coworking is more than just sharing space, it’s about the collaborations, support, learning and natural networking that happens when you share challenges and triumphs together.

We want to take advantage of European Coworking Day to highlight the opportunities that can come from being part of a coworking community. We’ll do this through a digital networking event that will connect our hubs and members with European spaces and will be an opportunity for businesses and individuals to make international connections, learn best practice and explore trade opportunities.

The event will take place at 8am UK time (9am CEST) on Wednesday 10 May and is open to anyone. TownSq will offer free coworking from our spaces for anyone who signs up and other hubs are encouraged to do the same.   

What to expect

The event will follow traditional networking events, but with a twist – (numbers allowing) you’ll be paired with a European counterpart where you can learn all about their business and experiences and explore opportunities to learn and work together.

Agenda

• Welcome by TownSq & EU Hub host
• 60-second intro from each member on the call introducing themselves and their business
• Breakout room sessions for individuals to chat & learn/explore opportunities
• Some members share what they’ve learnt/the conversations they have had
• Chat between TownSq & EU Hub host on what coworking offers startups and SME’s & how events such as today show that by connecting these communities we can achieve, learn and work together.
• Offer to connect individuals with others they haven’t been able to chat with.
